1975 - 1995, Digital Equipment Computer Distributor
- $500M aggregate sales
- 20 - 30 employees
1984 - 1996, Scherer's Communication, Inc., Commercial IVR Provider
- 3,000 lines of IVR for consumer product recalls
- Inter-exchange carrier (IXC) and CLEC
- 130 employees
- 52 of Fortune 100 companies were customers
- AT&T's 3rd largest customer in Ohio
- Acquired 19-acres in Worthington, Ohio and built 5-acre telco campus in 1998
- 5-acre telco campus is 65,700 sq. ft. fed by 2 power grids
- AT&T moved next door (at Scherer's Court) in 1988
- This led to 19 other carriers setting points of access and points of presence on the property
- Acquired by Cinicnnati Bell in 1996
- Part of $3B spin-off as Convergys in 1997
1997 - 1999, EZ-Results
- 4th largest web search engine
- Patents and technology acquired by Ask.com
1999-2005, Scherer's Conferencing
- Audio conferencing and web collaboration service bureau
- 20 employees
- Acquired by Arkadin in 2005
2007 - present, Scherer's Collocation Group (SCG)
- Built 10,800 sq. ft., Tier IV data center and began leasing space
